Kevin R. Wagner
President and Founding Partner Kevin Wagner has four decades of knowledge and experience helping clients make informed decisions about their insurance and retirement needs. He feels blessed to have had the opportunity to assist clients and friends with their personal and business financial needs, and insurance needs, throughout his career. He has also enjoyed developing and mentoring many other financial professionals along the way.
Kevin began his career in insurance and financial services with Prudential Ins. & Financial as an agent in 1976. He later transitioned into roles in management, teaching, recruiting, and sales training, eventually reaching his goal of becoming a Regional Vice President.
In 2002, he joined Nationwide Insurance as a Regional Financial Sales Director, helping property and casualty agents support the financial needs of their top clients. In 2008, he bought his first Nationwide agency in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was recognized as one of the top Financial Agencies with Nationwide Securities until they allowed a change of broker-dealers in June 2018. At that time, he chose to align with the independent broker-dealer Cambridge Investments based on shared value to integrity, commitment, flexibility, and kindness.
Together with Founding Partner Jasen Hedrick, Kevin built ArrowStar Financial with the goal of providing financial products and services in new and better way for his clients, friends, and professional partners and associates. His client-centric approach is based on listening to his clients’ individual needs and offering a wider variety of financial planning tools, products, and services to meet those needs, while allowing those clients to do business in the manner they desire.
Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife of 40+ years, Peggy, and gardening and landscaping at home and around the office. He loves to go deep sea fishing whenever possible, and occasionally golfs (he says losing as many golf balls as he does helps the economy). He also enjoys tailgating at NC State football games and watching Ohio State Buckeyes football games. Born in Ohio, Kevin now splits his time between his Raleigh and Jacksonville offices in North Carolina. Believes strongly in giving back providing for Charities like the Salvation Army, St Jude, Wounded Warriors, CHEW and many others.
Jasen Hedrick, CLTC®
As a founding partner of ArrowStar Financial, Jasen brings more than 25 years of financial and insurance services experience to the firm. In 2018, Jasen joined Kevin Wagner to build ArrowStar Financial, choosing to offer clients a more personalized and wholistic approach (to services, products and support) than what they might typically get from a traditional financial services firm or insurance agency.
As a trusted advisor and fiduciary committed to serving his clients long-term, Jasen believes in meeting clients where they are, with the intention of supporting their financial needs today and into the future. Jasen is passionate about sharing his knowledge to help clients better understand their investments, the markets and general financial well-being (including debt reduction, budgeting and more). With Jasen’s expertise and support, clients feel empowered to develop a plan to meet their specific goals versus focusing only on total market return.
Jasen’s deep understanding of insurance products, including expertise in life, disability and long-term care insurance, uniquely positions him to guide clients through even the most complicated estate planning.
Jasen graduated cum laude from NC State (Go Pack!). He holds life, accident and health, long-term care, and property and casualty insurance licenses, as well as FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses. Jasen has also earned the Certification for Long-Term Care® designation and is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MRDT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®.
A native of Oregon, Jasen lives in Cary, North Carolina, with his wife, Shannon, and their three rescue dogs. He actively supports and volunteers with a number of charities including Shepherd’s Table Soup Kitchen, StepUp Ministry, Thad & Alice Eure Walk for Hope, Meals on Wheels, Note in the Pocket, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Chatham Animal Rescue & Education (CARE), and SPCA of Wake County.
Timothy G. Hausmann, CFP
Tim joined Prudential Insurance Company as a representative learning about Insurance and Financial solutions right out of Clemson University. He started as an agent and quickly rose through the ranks of management with Prudential.
Tim earned the prestigious Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2004 & holds LA&H, P&C, LTC and Series 6, 63, 26, 65, 7 securities licenses.
In 2001, Tim changed paths and joining Nationwide Financial as a Regional Financial Marketing Director for NC & SC charged with helping 400 agents improve their client’s financial outcomes through training, business planning and joint appointments working with families and business owners.
In 2005, Tim purchased a Nationwide Insurance agency in Charlotte, NC. He & his team of 15 sales professionals operate a successful Property/Casualty & Financial Services Agency out of 5 locations seving thousands of customer’s needs.
Tim has achieved 25 national & 17 International Business Conferences in his career. He’s earned the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and many awards for sales and community service.
He volunteers in local schools as a Character Education & Junior Achievement instructor. Tim coaches & sponsors youth sports including soccer, football & basketball totaling 43 teams with his kids. He is active in his church as a mentor of youth programs and is very active in local community charitable organizations. He likes helping others, whether his clients or the kids he works with, reach successful goals. Tim truly has “the heart of a teacher.”
Tim graduated Clemson University with a B.S. in Financial Management. He was an ACC Champion swimmer and 4-year letterman. His hobbies include competitive tennis, travel, photography & reading. Tim & his amazing wife live in Charlotte, North Carolina with their 5 kids.
Rich has been in the financial services industry since 1998. As a financial professional. Rich spends his time assisting clients with the assessment of risk versus return principles. These assessments may come in the form of evaluating Mutual Funds, Stock holdings, Managed Accounts, Annuities, Long-Term Care, Life Insurance, Viatical Settlements, or Estate Planning strategies.
Rich’s primary area of concentration the past two years has been in Long-Term Care Insurance Planning. This area of the financial planning process is imperative as medical cost and care for a loved one can devastate a financial plan if not properly evaluated and managed.
Rich is a West Virginia native and father of three incredible young adults. He is a graduate of Marshall University and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Charleston. He holds life, health, accident, LTC, and property / casualty licenses, as well as FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 65, 26 registrations. Rich earned the Certification for Long-Term Care and LUTCF designations and is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).
As our operations manager, Kathy Lees strives to create positive experiences and provide top-notch customer service for every client.
A proud “military brat,” that traveled the country she now calls Onslow County home.
In her free time, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family. She can often be found watching her youngest son play football or spending time with her oldest son, daughter-in-law, and two grandsons.
Bowen “Bo” Latham has been in the financial services industry since 1996, helping clients with their investments through a mix of stocks, mutual funds, insurance, and annuity products. An advisor with ArrowStar Financial, Bo specializes in dividend-producing blue chip stocks that offer steady income and diversified growth.
Bo holds numerous securities licenses, including FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses.
Bo and his wife, Lana, are originally from Burlington, North Carolina, but have been living in the Wilmington area for several years. Lana is a language arts teacher with St. Mark School in Wilmington.
Brad Sizemore has been in the financial services industry since 1995. He has worked with clients that are just starting out in their early years getting married and starting a family to those individuals and families that are enjoying their retirement years. Looking at your goals for the long term is the approach that is taken while modifying items as you progress through your personal or business life stages.
Earning Presidents Conference and Life Council over the years has helped Brad stay attuned to the different products and evolving changes needed to plan for someone’s future. Brad was born and raised in Wilmington, NC where he has six office locations between Brunswick, Pender, and New Hanover Counties. He graduated from NC State University in May of 1995 and began studying and obtaining his licenses by the end of 1995: FINRA 6 & 63 Financial License: Life & Heath License: Medicare Supplement & Long-Term Care License: Property and Casualty License.
Brad serves on the Finance, Trustees, and At Large Stewardship Council for his church. He graduated from New Hanover High School in Wilmington, NC. He was on the Basketball and Baseball teams at New Hanover High School all four years. He was also in the Marching Band all fours years and ran Cross Country his Junior and Senior Years. He enjoyed playing tennis after baseball practice at Empie Park during his high school years as well. Brad enjoys attending NC State Football and Basketball games today. He is married and has three children. He enjoys boating and being outside as much as possible when not working.
I am a 1993 graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Industrial Relations with a strength in Economics. I am married with two children. I have coached youth sports for over 20 years and I actively work with other children’s programs. I am actively involved with Relay for Life to raise awareness and funds to fight cancer. My hobbies include spending time with my family, playing golf, and being on or near the water.
Jim has been in the financial services industry since 2002, helping his clients with their financial needs, including life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and long-term care. Prior to that, Jim had a thirteen-year banking career starting in 1989. He worked his way through the banking industry, leaving as an Assistant vice President/Branch Manager in 2002.
Jim currently holds Securities License FINRA Series 6 and 63. He is currently appointed and has clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Ohio and New York.
Jim married his wife, Rhonda, in 2008. Jim and Rhonda love spending time with their beloved dog, “Nasher”. They also enjoy traveling, especially to see their three grandchildren in Ohio. Jim is a “Sports Nut”. He follows all major sports. He loves watching Ohio State Buckeyes football games. Jim’s an avid golfer. Jim and Rhonda reside in Matthews, NC.
John is deeply passionate about educating and helping the community whether it be retirement needs, life insurance or health insurance.
John graduated from Jacksonville State University where he played baseball on scholarship. After college he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds organization where he played for four years.
After baseball, John worked in an accounting firm and in 2003 he came to the insurance and financial services industry. John holds life, accident and health, long term care and property and casualty insurance licenses as well as FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
John bought his first agency in 2009 and has been a qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has received many more state and companywide awards.
John married Brandi in 2009 and they have 2 children and 2 dogs in Kentucky where they reside. John coaches his son’s travel baseball team on and they travel all over the U.S. to play. He also coaches baseball at the High School level. John enjoys spending time with his family and working around the house and of course he is a huge Big Blue Fan! (Kentucky Wildcats).
Jon Brinson is the Principal Agent and Financial Consultant as well as the Owner of Brinson Insurance Agency located in Bayboro, NC and New Bern, NC. In addition to running the agency, he predominantly works with commercial insurance and financial products and services. What Jon loves most about his job is educating customers. He thrives on making sure the insured feels confident in the products or services being provided.
Jon married his high school sweetheart, Sheila, and together they have raised three amazing children. He enjoys spending time with them, being involved in his church, traveling, learning, and singing. He also directed a barbershop chorus for three years and was once in a bank robbery (call us to get the full scoop).
Marlow has been helping families with life and financial services for over 20 years. He has tremendous experience helping with preparing, protecting and providing individuals, couples, and businesses. A Raleigh native, he graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Pre-Med and went on to have a professional soccer career. Marlow continues to be involved with the community serving as a former Chairman of the Board for the Apex Chamber of Commerce and other non-profit boards such as Hors and Buddy, Apex Festival Commission, and Leadership Raleigh Alumni Association. He stays active with his passion for soccer by working with NCFC Youth as the Director of Club Partnerships and Development. Marlow enjoys golfing and spending time with friends and family. He and his wife have three wonderful children and enjoy all the experiences with parenthood and traveling.
Robert started his career as a Marine and after serving his enlisted time, he took a chance on a career in Life and Financial with Prudential. 30 + years later he is still enjoying the protection and the opportunities he can give his clients old and new.
After a successful career with Prudential, he took his talents to Met Life where he was a Regional Manager in the Richmond area and then bought a Nationwide Insurance Agency in 2006 to continue helping families and businesses protect themselves financially.
Nationwide decided to cease being a Broker Dealer and in January of 2020 he joined ArrowStar Financial and Cambridge Investment Research (Broker Dealer). At ArrowStar Financial he has been provided with more tools to be able to protect and build up his clients assets and protection for their families.
Robert was blessed with three amazing children and three exceptional grandchildren. He serves on a number of local boards and in his spare time works with the Eagle Scout Advancement boards. He was one of the organizers of The War Memorial Foundation that was responsible for building one of the largest veteran memorials “The Carolina Field of Honor” at Triad Park in Colfax, NC.
He was Born in Colorado and currently resides in Summerfield NC with his new adopted lab Nala… a rescue dog. He also still protects his clients with the O’Hanlon Insurance Agency.
Terry Nobles Jr has been the principle agent and owner of Nobles Insurance Agency since 1980. He holds life, accident and health, long-term care, and property and casualty insurance licenses, as well as FINRA Series 6 and 63. Terry grew up in Cary, NC and is a graduate from East Carolina University. Terry enjoys spending time with his family, attending Carolina Hurricane games, and spending time outdoors at his home in Southport, NC.
Tim Necaise, CFP
Tim has been serving clients in the financial services industry for over twenty years and considers it a privilege to guide his clients through many of life’s best and worst times.
He began his financial career at MetLife where he developed his industry knowledge and love for helping clients realize their dreams. However, the opportunity to provide property and casualty insurance for his clients prompted him to join Nationwide Insurance two years later as an associate agent. Tim’s success as an associate positioned him to purchase his own Nationwide agency in Newport, NC in 2009. Since that time he has led his agency to numerous conference qualifications, as well as, the Million Dollar Round Table.
Tim earned a BS in Horticulture from NC State and a Masters in Business from UNCW. He has also earned his Certified Financial Planner designation. He holds property and casualty, life, accident and health, and long term care licenses in addition to his FINRA series 6 & 63.

Jason has been in the insurance business since 2008. He has a passion for helping his customers live their best life through alleviating the stress of choosing the appropriate insurance and investments for their lifestyle. Jason has years of experience assisting customers with health and medicare insurance, which is an integral, and often overlooked part of one’s retirement plan.
Jason grew up in Eden, North Carolina and moved to Charlotte in 2005 after graduating from Appalachian State University. He loves to spend time outdoors with his wife and three children. Whether it be hiking, camping, riding bikes, gardening or just working around the house, he will look for an excuse to be outside. Jason enjoys playing basketball and coaching his kid’s teams. He will rarely turn down a chance to get together with some friends around a fire-pit and is deadly on the corn hole boards.

Katie White has been a Nationwide agent since 2005 and a financial representative with Nobles Insurance Agency since 2012. Katie is originally from New Bern, NC and moved to Raleigh in 2011 after graduating from East Carolina University. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their cat Plum.
